Meet Hannah and Hallie Kerr. They are both highly skilled and talented in many arenas yet helping with home improvement projects has become their forte. It was just about this time last spring these now fully grown and well groomed “daddy’s helpers” assisted in getting a very large window up and into a lofted space via their father’s make shift pulley system. (because naturally we built the room but not the staircase.) This spring they are with us every step of the way as we salvage what we can from the ruins. To that point, they found interesting sparkling nuggets formed from the molten glass while pulling things out from the basement window. I do so appreciate their keen vision for finding these gems amongst the debris. Whether its building up or tearing down - these capable, strong, resilient women are all in. We are beyond grateful for their kind hearted devotion and willingness to support their parents’ crazy DIY adventures, especially when this particular idea has gone up in smoke. Our daughters are our real dreams come true. Can’t really ask for more than that.
